Plug the machine in and switch it on at the wall..Put your foot on the base and gently twist the main body left and right and side to side..If it bursts into life or flickers, even briefly, that points to a fault inside one of the machine’s wiring looms.. Sebo Wiring Loom Failure – What to Look For.
Remove the bag door and tower filter and inspect the wire running down the inside of the body behind the filter.This is part of the main wiring loom.
Look for signs of heat damage, discolouration or brittleness at the plug end – you may need to remove it to see this, but again, a test meter is your friend here.. We see this often in machines with intermittent faults.
